Today I added the scene where the main character shuts the doors quickly and then the shot changes to her boyfriend asking what she wants for dinner. he then stutters and asks is that your new necklace, can I have a look. the shot changes - using a black fade transition to bridge the two scenes, to where the boyfriend is sitting at the breakfast table and he turns around and see something. It then cuts back to the bedroom scene and then the main character says no. This is when the audience sense that she has changed in the way she is communicating.
In this scene I allowed the characters to talk as i didn't want the entire trailer to be silent.
There is a feature on Pinnacle where you can increase or decrease the sound of the scene to the desired volume.
Instead of decreasing the sound and increasing the sound of the music, I turned the volume of the music down and the talking up.
